The three correct answers
Choose the answers below in order. PCGamesN and TechWiser give the same solutions; the last answer is that the child’s fate is unknown, not that the child died or was rescued.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| What did Nimble Thief do at 13 that he kept bragging about? | Stole the landowner’s jade belt |
| What shape was the head of the hairpin that doomed him? | Butterfly |
| What became of the poor family’s child? | The letter never said; his fate is unknown. |
Who asks the questions?
Gentle Thief is the questioner in Honor Among Thieves. Nimble Thief is his brother, whose letter you collect. You answer questions about Nimble Thief’s past, rather than take a quiz from him.

Start at Outlaw Trap Bell and find the letter
TechWiser’s route starts at Outlaw Trap Bell in Crimson Forest. Head right, leaving the boss arena on your left. Pass the mechanism that requires the Crimson Forest Tunnel Crank, then turn left and collect the letter from a body to start the quest. The mechanism is a landmark here, not an instruction to obtain or use the crank first. Continue to Thieves’ Camp and enter the tent to speak to Gentle Thief with the letter.
Read the letter again
For the clues, TechWiser directs you to the archive, under Wulin Tales, to Blood Letter from the Nimble Thief. That guide lists it as the eighth entry. Use the entry name if your archive order differs.
Wrong answer or story progression?
According to TechWiser, if you answer incorrectly you can speak to Gentle Thief again and retry the questions while he remains available. As a precaution, finish the quiz before Crimson Forest’s main boss: TechWiser warns that the quest may become unavailable afterward. A wrong-answer retry is not a recovery method after story progression.
Silent Wrap reward and guide scope
Answer all three correctly to receive the Silent Wrap accessory. PCGamesN and TechWiser describe a 40% reduction in noise from footsteps and assassinations, not a reduction in detection chance or a damage bonus. This route summarizes their launch-period guides, not our own playtest. Neither article identifies a tested platform or patch; quest, place and item names retain the English source wording.
