Phantom Blade Zero Guides: Choose Your Next Task

Find a sourced starting point for difficulty, beginner combat, trophies, weapons, performance and game-length planning rather than a full walkthrough.

Already playing: choose a combat or progression task

Start with the beginner framework if you want to connect difficulty choice, weapon rotation and exploration. Use the difficulty page to distinguish confirmed mode descriptions from unknown rules, and the weapons page for the sourced roles of main weapons and Phantom Edges. If platinum is your goal, read the trophy warnings early: the checklist and route summary are planning aids, not a replacement for verifying a story choice before proceeding. Evidence checked 2026-10-29; each guide carries its own sources and scope.

Plan your setup and available play time

For display modes or frame-rate concerns, use performance guidance qualified by platform and test conditions instead of assuming PS5 Pro observations apply to every console or PC. For scheduling, keep main-story, platinum and full-completion estimates separate: a platinum estimate is not a main-story promise. Browse the linked guides by objective. They cover selected missions, collectibles and encounters, not the entire game.

Quest index: find your next objective

PCGamesN’s October 29 quest list groups objectives into main story, secondary story, Tales/side quests and collectible quests. Main-story names run from Against The Flow to A Soul’s Worth; secondary entries include Illusory Pipa and Whence The Weeping. Use these as journal lookup names, not a mandatory order. This single-source list has category/count ambiguities and does not establish an official quest total. English quest and location names below match the sources, not verified localized game labels.

New Game Plus: unlock and carry-over checklist

According to PCGamesN’s October 29 NG+ guide, after the credits you can travel from any bell to the Puppet Cell in the Mountain of Imprisonment and speak to Inanis to start a new adventure. Before confirming, review what carries over: equipment, progression items, ability training and archives. This is a single-source summary, not our own tested save transfer.

Before NG+: reset checklist and unresolved rules

PCGamesN says quests, maps, key items and remaining days reset. Review unfinished quests and record your current objectives before starting again; do not assume quest progress transfers with equipment. The source describes a harder journey but gives no numerical scaling, and does not explain how the days reset relates to Sixty-Six Days mode. Mode-specific reset rules and recovery of failed quests remain unconfirmed.
