Mu Xiaokui: Combat Cues, Entities & Two-Target Advice

Read Mu Xiaokui’s purple entity effects, compare Wolf’s targeting advice and stay ready for cinematic inputs with linked, limited fight-video examples.

Find Mu Xiaokui and use this reference

Rock Paper Shotgun places Mu Xiaokui, Young Mistress Of The Order in Village of Lu, with Puppet Testing Grounds as the nearest Bell. These are orientation names, not a verified route or entry requirement. Below are selected observations from other players’ recordings and advice attributed to TheUntouchableWolf, not our own playtest or a complete move list. Start with the entity cues, two-target example and cinematic reminder; the clips do not certify difficulty or a full no-damage run.

Opening pressure: Wolf’s distance-first approach

In TheUntouchableWolf’s 0:45–1:25 example, his approach is to keep some distance, evade the ranged slashes and look for a chance to close in. He also says parrying is an option: this is his conservative approach, not proof that blue attacks cannot be parried or must always be dodged. Compare the attack and your own screen cues rather than copying the recording’s elapsed time.

Purple human-shaped effects: look beyond the front target

ONGBAL’s 2:40–3:08 segment shows a purple human-shaped outline, close-range exchanges and several contact effects. Use it to recognize an additional visual cue during the fight, not to identify a formally named entity or a specific successful defensive input. Sparks and purple fragments alone do not prove a parry, and this excerpt does not establish the full appearance order or defensive properties of every entity.

Entity responses: an author’s suggestion, not a guarantee

Wolf recommends more parrying in the second phase while handling red cues separately. For the entities, TheUntouchableWolf advises dodging the descending rush, trying to parry the sword-bearing entity’s attacks and watching for grabs. The linked 4:05–4:30 footage contains airborne movement and purple human-shaped effects, but does not independently prove a precise grab or damage sequence. Treat the responses as his advice, not a universally successful demonstration, a fixed dodge direction or a timing guide.

Two targets: keep one main lock-on without inventing a kill order

ONGBAL’s 4:40–5:10 excerpt shows two enemy figures and two separate enemy status bars; another target can remain to the side or farther away during close combat. In his commentary at 6:07–6:38, TheUntouchableWolf says he mainly locks onto Iron Fiend to reduce confusion from switching. That is a targeting idea, not a requirement to kill Iron Fiend first. The clip does not establish shared health, revival or aggro rules.

Keep watching when the cinematic starts

Wolf’s 7:35–8:25 segment moves from combat into a cinematic that still displays input prompts. TheUntouchableWolf reminds viewers to follow the screen: do not put the controller down just because the camera changes. Use the prompts and bindings on your own platform, not a fixed button sequence copied from this video. The author says he does not know what failure does; no death, restart or phase-checkpoint penalty is established here.

Checked 2026-11-04. Combat references use selected windows from TheUntouchableWolf and ONGBAL, not a complete viewing or our own gameplay. Observed effects are kept separate from author advice; precise inputs, platform, patch, difficulty, equipment and repeatability are not certified. Area, nearest Bell and reward associations come from Ollie Toms’s Rock Paper Shotgun boss list (2026-10-30). Its numbering is not mandatory progression. Proper names remain in English where official translations are unverified. This reference does not cover every move, phase trigger, retry rule or reward condition.
