Hua Qianxiao: Combat Cues from the Fight Video

Identify Hua Qianxiao, The Sword Fanatic, read two prompt-to-attack sequences, and check Crimson Forest, the nearest Bell and reward limits.

The Sword Fanatic, not Deadly Betrothed

Hua Qianxiao, The Sword Fanatic is the opponent named on the HUD in PowerPyx’s fight video. This is not Hua, Deadly Betrothed in Weeping Creek Valley. Use the two linked sequences below to recognize a screen prompt followed by player attacks; do not carry over the other Hua’s flower or grab tactics. This guide covers selected visible combat cues, not every move or a guaranteed strategy.

Area and nearest Bell

Rock Paper Shotgun lists Crimson Forest as the region and Pangzhen Bridge Overlook as the nearest Bell. Use those names to check that you are looking for the right encounter. The Bell is a reference point, not a verified turn-by-turn route; entry requirements and the walk to the arena are not established here.

Read the whole sword sequence before committing

Around 0:34–0:42, and again before the two examples below, the video shows successive broad cyan sword arcs and airborne movement. Treat the first slash as part of a continuing sequence rather than assuming that one defended hit ends the pressure. As a practical reading exercise, watch the remaining swings, the landing and the subsequent screen cue before choosing to commit to an attack. This footage does not establish a fixed parry count or a universal dodge direction.

Example 1 · 1:03–1:10: prompt, then follow-up

In the first linked sequence, sword arcs give way to the opponents closing again. Around 1:06.5 a triangular screen prompt appears; around 1:07–1:10 the player follows with repeated close-range attacks and visible hit effects on the boss. Compare the boss’s posture and the prompt with your own fight rather than copying an elapsed time. This is an observed opportunity in this recording, not proof that the prompt always grants a safe combo, a named execution or a specific button on every platform.

Example 2 · 1:42–1:49: recognize the repeat

The second sequence again shows sword arcs, airborne movement and a return to the ground. A flash near 1:45 is followed by another triangular prompt around 1:46.3; player follow-up attacks and hit effects appear around 1:47–1:49. Watching both examples helps separate the preceding attack sequence from the later follow-up. The repeated pattern does not establish what caused the prompt, how many seconds it lasts or a guaranteed counter.

Raised vessel · 1:28–1:31 is not a proven free combo

The boss raises a red vessel toward his face while the player attacks nearby; by about 1:31 the fighters have separated and a circular effect surrounds the boss. This does not confirm that drinking was interrupted. Do not treat the raised vessel alone as permission for a long combo, or interpret the white effects as confirmed invulnerability or a specific shield. A guaranteed axe interrupt is not established by this footage.

Reward association · spoilers

Reward association · spoilers

Rock Paper Shotgun lists The Fanatic's Broken Blade in this encounter’s reward entry. That supports an association with the fight, not an automatic inventory grant, a complete drop list, a pickup procedure or a repair chain. The linked video is not used here to confirm a readable reward notification.

Sources and applicability

Combat observations refer to PowerPyx’s original video, with approximate timestamps; this is analysis of another player’s recording, not our own playtest. Platform, patch, difficulty and exact equipment are unconfirmed. Region, nearest Bell and reward association come from Ollie Toms’s Rock Paper Shotgun boss list (2026-10-30), entry 9; its number is not a mandatory kill order. Checked 2026-11-03. Proper names remain in English where official localized names have not been verified.
